What is Zinc Dibutyldithiocarbamate CAS 136-23-2?
White powder/granule. Density is 1.24. Soluble in CS2, benzene, chloroform, alcohol, diethyl ether. Insoluble in water and low concentration alkali. Good storage stability.
Uses of Zinc Dibutyldithiocarbamate (ZDBC):
1.ZDBC is used as secondary ultra accelerator for thiazole and sulfenamide cure systems in general purpose polymers (NR, SBR, IIR, EPDM). It can be used as a primary accelerator in specialty applications as well as in latex.
2.In latex applications Zinc dibutyl dithiocarbamate is mainly used in transparent goods and in prevulcanized latex. An additional application is as an antioxidant in adhesive systems. ZDBC gives faster cures than ZDEC or ZDMC.
3.For tire manufacturing, rubber belt, rubber overshoes and other industrial rubber products accelerator currently and a medium fast primary accelerator.When used alone or in combination with other basic accelerators for higher activity, excellent aging performance can be achieved. Its acceleration temperature is low, easy to disperse, and has little pollution. Mainly used for manufacturing tires, inner tubes, foot rubber bands, hoses, etc.
