Products Description
Uses of Ethylenethiourea or 2-Imidazolidinethione:
- Vulcanization Accelerator: Ethylenethiourea is an imidazoline vulcanization accelerator, used in polychloroprene, epichlorohydrin rubber, chlorinated polyethylene, etc. Especially suitable as a safety accelerator for non-vulcanized neoprene systems. Usually used in combination with zinc oxide and magnesium oxide, mainly used in industrial products, coated wires, shoes and other neoprene products.
- Auxiliary Brightener: Ethylene thiourea is an auxiliary brightener for copper sulfate in electroplating.
- Chemical Intermediate: ETU is used in the manufacture of antioxidants, pesticides, fungicides, dyes, drugs and synthetic resins.
