What are PIB fuel additives?

PIB (polyisobutylene) fuel additives are polymerized chemicals that help improve the performance of fuels such as gasoline. The primary function of these additives is to act as deposit control agents, preventing the formation of deposits in the engine, which can clog vital components such as fuel injectors and intake valves. By improving fuel flow and combustion efficiency, PIB additives help maintain engine performance and longevity.
PIB additives are commonly used in conventional and performance fuels to ensure smooth engine operation and minimize engine maintenance.
