PM Solvent is a clear, colorless liquid with an ether-like odor and low toxicity. It is an organic solvent that is a fast evaporator. It is water soluble and miscible with a number of other organic solvents.
What is propylene glycol methyl ether used for?
Propylene glycol monomethyl ether is used as a solvent for a variety of industrial and consumer applications: for paints, varnishes, celluloses, acrylics, dyes, inks, stains, etc. It may be used as an industrial paint stripper, or as antifreeze in diesel engines. It is used as a chemical intermediate, in cleaners and degreasers, in coatings, and in the manufacture of electronics. It may be used in agricultural, cosmetic, and adhesives products.
