Uses
- Oil field: Potassium Formate is used to regulate the density and viscosity of drilling fluid, inhibit well wall collapse and protect oil and gas layers.
- Road maintenance: It can melt snow quickly as a snow-melting agent, with little damage to the environment and infrastructure.
- Electroplating industry: Potassium Formate plays the role of stabilising the pH value of electroplating solution, improving the quality and uniformity of electroplating layer.
- Leather industry: CHKO2 assists in regulating the pH of leather tanning, improving the quality and softness of leather.
- Chemical synthesis: This product is the raw material for the production of formic acid, oxalic acid and other chemical products, and it is also the reducing agent and formic acid in organic synthesis. It is also the reducing agent and formylation reagent in organic synthesis.
