What is triacontanol used for?
What is Triacontanol?
Triacontanol is white flaky crystals with a melting point range of 85.5-86.5℃. It is insoluble in water, difficult to dissolve in cold methanol, ethanol, and acetone, and easily soluble in ether, chloroform, and carbon tetrachloride. It has a good yield-increasing effect on rice, cotton, wheat, soybeans, corn, sorghum, tobacco, beets, peanuts, vegetables, flowers, fruit trees, sugarcane, etc., with an increase of more than 10%.

What are the characteristics of triacontanol?
1. It can be absorbed by the stems and leaves of plants, and then promote the growth of plants, increase the accumulation of dry matter, improve the permeability of cell membranes, increase the content of chlorophyll, increase photosynthetic intensity, and enhance the activity of amylase, multioxidase, and peroxidase.

2. It promotes germination, rooting, stem and leaf growth and flowering, makes crops mature early, increases fruiting rate, enhances cold and drought resistance, increases yield, and improves product quality.
How to use triacontanol?
1. Rice:
Soak seeds in 0.5-1mg/kg solution for 2 days and then germinate and sow. It can increase the germination rate, increase germination potential, and increase yield by 5%-10%.
2. Soybeans, corn, wheat, and millet:
Soak seeds in 1mg/kg solution for 0.5-1 day and then sow. It can also increase the germination rate, enhance germination potential, and increase yield by 5%-10%.

3. Leafy vegetables, potatoes, seedlings, forage, sugarcane:
spray stems and leaves with 0.5-1mg/kg solution, generally increasing yield by more than 10%.
4. Fruit trees, Solanaceae vegetables, cereal crops, soybeans, cotton:
spray once with 0.5mg/kg solution during the flowering period and the peak flowering period, which also increases yield.

5. Cuttings:
Soaking in 4-5mg/kg solution can promote rooting.
6. Kelp:
Soaking 14cm long kelp seedlings in 0.5-1mg/kg solution for 6 hours can increase production by more than 20%, and accelerate the growth of kelp leaf length, width and thickness, increase dry matter content by 7%, and significantly increase alginate and mannitol.

What are the precautions for triacontanol?
1. The physiological activity is very strong, the concentration used is very low, and the solution must be accurately prepared.
2. 4-6 hours after spraying, re-spraying is required in case of rain.
3. The content of active ingredients and the quality of processed preparations have a great influence on the efficacy of the drug, so pay attention to the selection of the best.
