Chemical property
Cyclohexane is volatile and extremely flammable, and the vapor and air form an explosive mixture, with an explosion limit of 1.3 ~ 8.4% (volume). It is easy to burn and explode in case of open fire and high heat. Contact with oxidant will cause strong reaction and even cause combustion. In the fire scene, heated containers are in danger of explosion. Its vapor is heavier than air, and can spread to a considerable distance at a lower place. It will catch fire and burn back when encountering a fire source.
Applications of Liquid Cyclohexane:
1.Used as rubber, paint, varnish solvent, adhesive diluent, oil extractant. This product is mainly used in the manufacture of nylon monomer adipic acid, adipic diamine and caprolactam, also used as raw materials for the manufacture of cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone;
2.Used as analytical reagents, such as solvents, chromatographic analysis of standard substances. Also used in organic synthesis;
3.Complex titration of copper, iron, silicon, aluminum, calcium, magnesium, etc.; chromatographic analysis of standard substances;
4.Used as photoresist solvent;
5.Used for essential oil extraction;
6.Cyclohexane is used for cleaning degreasing agent, MOS grade is mainly used for discrete devices, medium and large-scale integrated circuits, BV grade is mainly used for ultra-large-scale integrated circuits.
