Cationic Polyacrylamide (CPAM) is a widely used water soluble polymer.It is a white powder or granule. It is soluble in water and forms a viscous solution. It has poor solubility in organic solvents such as ethanol and acetone. Cationic polyacrylamide can be used as a coagulant and is widely used in water treatment plants to remove suspended solids, colloidal substances and organic matter from water.
