Lauryl dimethylamine oxide also known as N,N-dimethyldodecylamine N-oxide, Lauramine oxide,Dodecyldimethylamine oxide, it is a colorless or light yellow transparent liquid. Easily soluble in water and polar organic solvents, slightly soluble in non-polar organic solvents in aqueous solutions, showing non-ionizing or cationic properties. Lauramine oxide is an amine oxide nonionic surfactant with a C12 alkyl chain used widely in cosmetics, washing, cleaning and personal care products.
