Amino Tris (methylene phosphonic acid) is an organic phosphate compound.ATMP has excellent alkaline and chelating properties and can form stable chelating complexes with many metal ions. This makes ATMP widely used in water treatment, textile dyestuff, paper industry, etc. It can dilute metal ions in water and inhibit scale formation.
Uses of Amino Tris (methylene phosphonic acid):
1. Amino Trimethylene Phosphonic Acid is a commonly used water treatment agent, which can form stable complexes with calcium, magnesium, iron and other metal ions in water, preventing metal ions from forming carbonate, sulfate and other scales. It is widely used in industrial circulating cooling water system, boiler water treatment, oil field water injection and other fields to prevent scaling and corrosion of equipment and pipelines.
2. ATMP can be added into detergent as chelating agent, which can effectively remove the hardness ions in the water and improve the detergent's decontamination effect.
3. Used in metal surface treatment process, such as electroplating, phosphating, etc., can play the role of corrosion inhibition and cleaning.
