Sodium Propyne Sulfonate is also called Sodium prop-2-yne-1-sulfonate,2-Propyne-1-sulfonic acid sodium salt.It is colorless to light yellow transparent liquid or colorless crystalline solid, soluble in water, slightly soluble in organic solvents. Mainly used as electroplating brightener.
Applications of Sodium propynesulfonate:
1.Electroplating Industry: PS is mainly used as an electroplating brightener. It can significantly improve the brightness in the high current density area, enhance the throwing power.
2.Organic Synthesis: Sodium-2-Propine-1-Sulphonate (Sodium Propyne Sulfonate) can be used as an addition reagent for olefins, reacting with olefins to form organosulfur compounds.
