What is Diphenyl Ether liquid?
Diphenyl ether also known as diphenyl oxide,phenyl ether, is a colorless liquid with a floral odor. It is a white, crystalline solid at temperatures below 80ºF (27ºC). It has low volatility, low solubility in water, and is stable at high temperatures. Avoid contact with oxidizing materials. Diphenyl ether is used in the production of flame retardant decabromodiphenyl ether, and used for high-temperature heat carrier, and used in the manufacture of spices and dyes.
Applications：
1.Industrial Heat Transfer Medium: Diphenyl ether is a major component of Dowtherm A (a eutectic mixture), used for heat transfer in industrial heating processes.
2.Chemical Intermediate: Diphenyl oxide is applied in the production of surfactants, high-temperature lubricants, flame retardants (such as polybrominated diphenyl ethers).
3.Fragrance Field: Due to its odor, it is used in the formulation of perfume and soap fragrances.
4.Other Applications: Can serve as a processing aid in polyester production; used in textile dye marking, plastics (such as ethylene - propylene - diene monomer rubber), etc.
