What is Perchloroethylene PCE?
Perchloroethylene PCE also known as tetrachloroethylene, perc. It is a colorless transparent liquid with a chloroform-like odor. Insoluble in water, but soluble in ethanol, ether and other organic solvents.The tetraenes without adding stabilizer are heated to 140ºC, which has no obvious corrosion on common metals. PCE is mainly used as solvent, organic synthesis, metal surface cleaner and dry cleaning agent, desulfurizer, heat transfer medium.
