What is Dodecane Liquid?
Dodecane is a colorless liquid with the property of being insoluble in water. It is an alkane compound; hygroscopic; soluble in ethanol, ether, acetone, chloroform and carbon tetrachloride, insoluble in water. Dodecane has a wide range of applications in the chemical field, it is commonly used as a solvent, lubricant and surfactant raw materials; n-dodecanecan also be used as a raw material for synthetic gasoline, oil and grease, as well as the manufacture of diesel fuel and kerosene additives; it can also be used in the textile, leather, rubber and plastic industries.
