Products Description
1,4-Dibromobutane is a colorless or slightly yellowish liquid. Melting point is -16.53ºC (-20ºC), boiling point is 197 - 198ºC (1.46kPa), 76ºC (1.47kPa), relative density is 1.7890 (20/4ºC), refractive index is 1.5190, flash point is 54ºC. It is soluble in chloroform, alcohol and ether, but insoluble in water. 1,4-Dibromobutane liquid is an intermediate for organic synthesis. Used in the pharmaceutical field.
