What is Tetrabutyl Titanate TNBT ?
Tetrabutyl Titanate (TNBT) also known as titanium(IV) butoxide, tetra n-butyl titanate, it is a colorless to pale yellow liquid with an aromatic odor. Soluble in alcohols and ether solvents, but insoluble in water. Exhibits excellent stability and hydrolysis resistance. Serves as a modifier for high-strength polyester coatings, an additive for high-temperature resistant coatings, a medical adhesive, a crosslinking agent, and a catalyst for polycondensation reactions.
