Triethylamine is an organic compound, chemical formula C6H15N, it is a colorless oily liquid, slightly soluble in water, aqueous solution is alkaline; it is a strong alkaline compound, can react with acid to form salt; it can be dissolved in most organic solvents such as ethanol, ether, acetone, etc., TEA can be mainly used as a solvent, inhibitor of polymerization, antiseptic, and also used in the synthesis of dyes.
