4-Methyl-2-pentanone (MIBK) is a colourless transparent liquid with special odour, slightly soluble in water, miscible with most organic solvents. It is relatively stable chemically, but flammable, its vapour and air can form explosive mixtures, easy to burn and explode when exposed to fire and high heat, and will react violently with strong oxidants.
Applications：
Industrial solvent: 4-Methyl-2-pentanone is widely used in coating and printing ink industry to improve the quality of film formation and gloss; in the production of adhesive, it can adjust the viscosity and drying speed of adhesive.
