What is Cupferron CAS 135-20-6?
Cupferron, white or light yellow crystals. Soluble in water and ethanol, unstable in light, air and aqueous solution . It can be used for metal element analysis, precipitation extraction separation, also can be used as a polymerisation inhibitor, when using need to pay attention to safety protection.
Applications of Cupferron：
- Analytical Detection: Used for the determination of a variety of metal elements, it can achieve quantitative analysis and separation of specific metal ions in complex systems.
- Precipitation and extraction: As a precipitant and extractant, it can make metal ions precipitate and then be used for separation or weighing analysis, and can also be used for extraction and separation or photometric analysis.
- Polymerisation blocking: It can replace phenol polymerisation blocking agent BHT, and achieve polymerisation blocking effect with small amount of addition.
