What is Tolyltriazole (TTA) CAS 29385-43-1?
Tolyltriazole is a colorless to light yellow crystal with high stability and thermal stability. It has low solubility in water and can be decomposed at room temperature. The compound is light sensitive and has the ability to excite fluorescence. TTA is mainly used as photosensitizer, widely used in photolithography process, electron microscope and other fields, also used in water treatment.
Uses:
1.Tolyltriazole is an effective corrosion inhibitor, especially suitable for non-ferrous metals. In water treatment, it can prevent metals in the water system from being corroded by harmful media in the water.
2.TTA can be used in combination with scale inhibitors and bactericidal algicides. In closed recirculating cooling water systems, tolyl triazole shows an excellent comprehensive effect when used with other water treatment agents.
3. In addition to water treatment, it is widely used in antirust oil (fat) products as a gas-phase corrosion inhibitor for copper and copper alloys. Methyl-1H-benzotriazole is also used as a lubricant additive, auto antifreeze, plant growth regulator, ultraviolet absorber, etc.
4.Used as photosensitizer, widely used in photolithography process, electron microscope and other fields.
