What is Praziquantel?
Praziquantel is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic with significant deworming effect against trematode and tapeworm parasites in domestic animals. It works by paralyzing the parasites, causing them to release the blood vessels they are attached to so the body can naturally remove them and kill them.
Praziquantel tablets is a deworming drug used to treat parasitic infections in cats, dogs, cattle and sheep. It is active against parasites such as canine diphylloid tapeworm, hooked tapeworm and fine-grained echinococcus tapeworm.
What does praziquantel do for dogs?
Praziquantel tablets is a broad spectrum anthelmintic tablets for the treatment of tapeworms (Taenia species, Dipylidium species (adult and immature forms), and Echinococcus species), hookworm (Unicarnia stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum (adults)), Ascarids (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris Leonia (adult and late immature forms)), and whipworms (Trichuris vulpis (adults).) in dogs.
How is praziquantel administered to dogs?
Praziquantel tablets may be given directly in the mouth or crumbled and mixed with the food. Administer to dogs and puppies* only as follows:

SPECIAL WARNINGS:
Only used for dogs over 3kg. Pregnancy bitches are available and must be used strictly in accordance with the recommended dosage. Do not use with piperazines. Wash hands immediately after handle this medicine. Do not use the rest.
