Products Description
Cryolite,also known as sodium aluminum fluoride,sodium hexafluoroaluminate, is an inorganic compound. Na3AlF6 cryolite is a colorless crystal with a cubic crystal system structure. It is highly thermally stable and soluble, and can be quickly dissolved in water at room temperature. Cryolite is used as an important raw material and intermediate in the chemical industry for the preparation of other chemicals.
Applications：
- Aluminum Electrolysis Industry: As the main component of the electrolyte, cryolite can dissolve aluminum oxide, reduce the melting point of the electrolyte, improve electrical conductivity, and is an important flux for aluminum electrolysis, which helps save energy.
- Glass and Enamel Industry: Sodium aluminum fluoride is used as an opacifier for making opalescent glass and enamel, which can improve the light blocking performance of products. It can also be used as an emulsifier for enamel.
