Products Description
Aluminum fluoride is an inorganic compound obtained by the reaction of aluminum and fluorine. It is a colorless crystalline solid with high melting point and good solubility; it has good solubility in water to produce aluminum fluoride acid; it is a non-volatile solid, insoluble in alcohols and most organic solvents. AlF3 aluminum fluoride is widely used as aluminum flux, used for smelting and purifying aluminum metal, it can also be used for the preparation of ceramics, glass and glaze.
Applications：
Aluminum Electrolysis Industry: Aluminum fluoride chemical is used to reduce the melting temperature of the electrolyte, and is an important additive in the aluminum electrolysis process.
Flux: AlF3 can be used as a flux for non ferrous metals, a flux for ceramic glazes and enamel glazes.
Other fields: It can be used as inhibitor of alcohol fermentation, welding fluid in metal welding, manufacture of optical lenses, catalyst of organic synthesis and raw material for synthesizing cryolite.
