Cyclohexanone chemical is an organic compound, CAS 108-94-1, with the chemical formula C6H10O. It is a saturated cyclic ketone containing a carbonyl carbon atom in a hexagonal ring. A colorless and transparent liquid with a earthy odor, containing trace amounts of phenol, it has a mint flavor. Cyclohexanone CYC is mainly used as an organic synthesis raw material and solvent in industry, for example, it can dissolve nitrocellulose, coatings, paints, etc.
Applications:
1. Major intermediate for the production of nylon, caprolactam and adipic acid;
