Uses
- Solvent: Ethylene glycol monobutyl ether is an excellent solvent, widely used in paint, ink, adhesive and other industries.
- Cleaning agent: It has good solubility and decontamination ability, commonly used in metal surface cleaning agent, electronic component cleaning agent, etc., and is non-corrosive to metal and electronic components.
- Other applications: Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether is used as a solvent for fibre lubricants and softeners in the textile industry; used for degreasing and softening treatment of leather in the leather industry; also used as an intermediate in organic synthesis for the preparation of esters, ethers and other compounds.
