What is Fatty Alcohol Polyoxyethylene Ether?
Fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether/Laureth-4 is a nonionic surfactant. It has good solubility and excellent surface activity in water and various organic solvents, so it has remarkable emulsification, dispersion, wetting and foaming properties. It is widely used in detergents, textiles, paper making, cosmetics and agriculture, etc. It plays a role in detergents to remove dirt, in textiles to remove dirt and soften, in paper making to wet the pulp, in cosmetics to emulsify, and in agriculture to improve the efficacy of insecticides. It generally has low toxicity, good biodegradability and is relatively friendly to the environment.
Uses:
1. Fatty Alcohol Polyoxyethylene Ether is widely used in the production of various detergents and cleaners, such as laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid and bathroom cleaner.
