Hexahydromethylphthalic Anhydride, also known as Methylhexahydrophthalic Anhydride,MHHPA. It is a colorless clear liquid,Soluble in benzene, acetone, chloroform and methanol, and reacts with water. It is a heat-curing acid anhydride curing agent, mainly used in the electrical and electronics fields,and also used in coatings.
Applications of Methyl Hexahydrophthalic Anhydride:
1.Epoxy Resin Curing Agent: Hexahydromethylphthalic anhydride is a heat-curing acid anhydride curing agent, mainly used in the electrical and electronics fields. MHHPA is used for the impregnation of electrical equipment coils, the casting of electrical components and the sealing of semiconductors, such as outdoor insulators, capacitors, light-emitting diodes and digital tubes.
2.Coating Industry: It is used in automotive clear coats and outdoor high-voltage casting coatings and composites.
3. Methylhexahydrophthalic anhydride can also be used as a raw material for the synthesis of some organic compounds and as a modifier for resins.
