Hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) is a liquid remote claw polymer, a new type of liquid rubber. It is used in the rubber industry, such as making rubber seals, rubber materials, rubber gaskets and so on.
Applications of Hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB)：
1.Rubber Industry: Polybutadiene (Hydroxyl terminated) can be used to modify and enhance the performance of rubber. By adding HTPB to natural rubber or synthetic rubber, the elasticity, toughness and wear resistance of the rubber can be improved, and it is used in the manufacture of tires, rubber seals and other products.
2.Coating and Adhesive: Hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene can be used as a raw material for coatings and adhesives. The coatings and adhesives prepared from it have good adhesion, water resistance and chemical resistance, and are widely used in the surface protection of metal, plastic and other materials and the bonding of various components.
3.Polyurethane Materials: As a polyol component, HTPB is used in the synthesis of polyurethane materials.
