1,3-Butadiene is the organic compound with the formula CH₂=CH-CH=CH₂. It is a colorless gas that is easily condensed to a liquid. It is important industrially as a precursor to synthetic rubber.
Applications：
- Synthetic Rubber: 1,3-Butadiene is the main raw material for the manufacture of styrene butadiene rubber, nitrile rubber, chloroprene rubber, and male-butadiene rubber.
- Synthetic resin: Copolymerised with styrene to produce ABS resin, SBS resin, MBS resin and so on.
