1. Used in textile industry, sodium 2-ethylhexyl sulfate is an excellent wetting agent under strong alkali conditions, applicable to desizing, refining, bleaching, mercerizing, dyeing and other processes.
2. In electroplating industry, it is used to formulate nickel plating brightener, suitable for mechanical or air stirring nickel plating process.
3. Sodium 2-Ethylhexyl Sulfate can be used in various hard surface detergents, such as all-purpose water, hood cleaner, kitchen cleaner, etc. It has excellent penetration, wetting, low-foaming performance and good emulsification performance.
4. 2-Ethylhexyl sulfate sodium can be used to analyze phenolic compounds; it can also be used as charge balance anion for the synthesis of organic layered double hydroxide.
