What is Ivermectin?
Ivermectin is known as a "wonder drug" and originates from a single microorganism isolated from Japanese soil. It is widely used in both humans and animals. Ivermectin kills a wide range of internal and external parasites in commercial livestock and companion animals, and it is also used in humans.
Ivermectin Tablets are an anti-parasite medication used in the treatment and prevention of heartworm and intestinal worms in horses, sheep, goats, cats, and dogs. It may be used to kill the microfilaria of heartworm in infected animals. This drug is not effective against tapeworms or liver flukes.
How to use Ivermectin tablets for pigs?
Ivermectin is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic drug indicated for the treatment of internal and external parasites in pigs, such as gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms and certain ectoparasites.

It is important to determine the dose to be given based on the weight of the pig. The usual dose is 0.2 mg to 0.3 mg of ivermectin per kilogram of body weight.
Precautions:
- Avoid overdose: dosage must be calculated strictly on the basis of body weight; overdose may result in neurological side effects.
- For use in adult and growing pigs, not recommended for pregnant sows, especially in the early stages of pregnancy.
- FOLLOW VETERINARY RECOMMENDATIONS: If the pig has a serious parasitic infection, it is recommended to treat it under veterinary supervision.
