What is methylene chloride solvent used for?

For instance, it can be used to decaffeinate coffee and tea and to prepare hops. Methylene chloride solvent can weld certain plastics, which is why it is used in the model-making industry. Another example of its use is in the garment printing industry, where it is used to remove heat-sealed transfers. Its main end users are in the paints, varnishes, plastics, cosmetics and textiles industries.
