What is Doramectin?

Doramectin is a derivative of ivermectin and a macrocyclic lactone. It is a highly active parasiticide that shows activity against a broad spectrum of nematodes and arthropods. Doramectin works by inhibiting the ability of nerve cells or muscle cells, which causes the paralysis and death of the parasite.

Doramectin Injection is an antiparasitic drug used to treat or prevent certain parasitic infections in animals like cows, goats, sheep, and pigs. It is a potent, highly active drug that can effectively treat a wide range of parasites, like roundworms, lungworms, eyeworms, grubs, sucking lice, and mange mites.

What is the use of Doramectin injection in cattle?

Doramectin is an antiparasitic drug commonly used in cattle and belongs to the Ivermectin group of drugs, similar to ivermectin. It is primarily used to treat and control a wide range of internal and external parasitic infections in cattle.

 

Internal parasites:

  • Gastrointestinal Nematodes: effective treatment of gastrointestinal nematode infections in cattle, such as roundworms and hookworms.
  • Lung nematodes: control lung infections caused by lung nematodes.
  • Hepatic lamellar trematode: to control lamellar trematode infection in the liver.

 

External parasites:

  • Ticks.
  • Ticks and mites.
  • Gadflies and flies.

(2)Operators should not eat or smoke when using this product. Wash hands after operation

(3)The product quickly decomposes and inactivates under sunlight, and should be kept away from light.
